Our History
The LCADA Way is a private, non-profit organization that has been a proven leader in recovery since 1981.
October 2015 we changed our name to The LCADA Way. Rebranding to The LCADA Way highlighted our unique approach centered around Leadership, Compassion, Awareness, Dedication & Advocacy. This approach allows us to serve the community and help individuals on the road to wellness and recovery.
In November 2015, The LCADA Way expanded its services into Medina County with the opening of the Wadsworth Wellness Center. This center is a vibrant health care facility for individuals and families that are able to access services in a convenient and supportive atmosphere. The LCADA Way also has additional service locations in Lorain and Erie Counties.
The LCADA Way is dedicated to transforming individual lives, families and communities suffering from alcohol abuse, substance abuse and behavioral health issues and developing itself as a Center of Clinical Excellence for education, prevention and treatment. To assist individuals on the road to wellness and recovery The LCADA Way provides a full array of behavioral health care services tailored to be gender and culturally appropriate based on individual client needs.
The LCADA Way is certified by the Ohio Department of Mental Health and Addiction Services (ODMAS) and The Joint Commission.
